CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
In these times when IT and the Internet are king, the IT fields alone attract more than 16% of the workforce in engineering training. It must be said that beyond the needs of companies which do not weaken, the job of computer engineer covers six distinct areas of intervention which are:
- Information systems engineers
They alone represent more than 44% of the workforce. Their mission is to develop, intergrate and update software adapting the organization of the company, but also to ensure the maintenance of the system. They are found in businesses and in IT service companies (SSII).
- Management IT specialists
This is data management software development specialists which are 27% of the workforce. At the same time project managers of the IT system and managers, they work in companies and in IT services companies.
- Network and telecom engineers
They bring together a little less than 11% of computer engineers. The role of these NICT enthusiasts is to develop communication techniques by telephone, internet and any other form of network. Providing opportunities such as: telephone operators, equipment manufacturers, IT services companies, etc.
- Industrial IT engineers
These type of engineers represents about 9% of the workforce in this sector. They are responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the machine park in a production workshop. They are employed in the design offices of factories and in IT services companies.
Among computer engineers, there are still about 6% Internet and multimedia engineers and about 2% software development engineers, who design telecommunication products and on-board electronic systems (cars, planes, trains, etc.). They work in IT services companies, and in industries integrating electronics.
