PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The chemical engineer creates the products that surround us. He can intervene at all levels of design: in the research and development activity, at the level of production, quality control or as a technical sales representative. A true problem solver participates from start to finish in the design of a product and is able to manage all the problems that may arise along the way. In addition, he can work in many sectors ranging from pharmaceuticals to textiles or ecology.
Development, Production and Marketing; the chemical engineer is involved in all stages of an impressive range of everyday products such as medicines, cosmetics, paints and solvents, plastics, automotive components, packaging, food products and textiles.
Today’s chemical engineers also work on the design of “clean” (fertilizers, fuels or solvents, on water purification and waste treatment) on the design of healthier foods or the creation of preventive anti-pollution technologies.
Chemists work in chemical engineering and design offices/industries, in a private or public laboratory or in a local community.
